Mustafa comes from a news background where dealing with fast changing ground conditions, breaking news as it happens and telling the story as is were a day to day life. After a short stint at The Indian Express, Mustafa spent a decade photographing for the leading American news agency, The Associated Press (AP). Mustafa has been based out of AP bureaus across New Delhi, Hyderabad and Kabul. Mustafa’s images have been published Internationally across various media such as Newsweek, Time Magazine, Der Spiegel, The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Geo, The Guardian, amongst others. His clients include Meta, Google Operations Center, OXFAM, International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), UNAIDS etc.
